Plans for this page

As many of you may already be aware, Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled to be released later this month. This will be Square-Enix's second MMORPG, and if it's anything like FFXI, it will have as rich a story and epic lore as fans would expect from the series. Accordingly, I have planned ahead by reserving this blog space so that I can hopefully do the same thing I have done with FFXI: provide fans a place they can view the story videos.

At this time, we don't really know anything about how cutscenes will be integrated into the game. We can only hope that we'll have some sort of "theater" or similar option for replay of the scenes like we have bards and goblin footprints in FFXI.

Like many fans, I applied up to be part of the beta test, but I wasn't accepted. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to being able to leverage the new computer I built, which has an Intel i7 CPU and GeForce GTS 250 Graphic card along with Windows 7 64-bit and 6 GB of RAM. This should help not only in allowing me to have a rich gaming experience, but also with producing the high-quality videos my followers have come to expect.

I look forward to being able to release my first video(s) sometime in late 2010 or early 2011. Until then, I'm still trying my best to finish the FFXI storyline.
